Born into a multigenerational family of artists, my creative path was shaped long before I ever picked up a brush. Art became a natural extension of my identity, evolving from childhood curiosity into a lifelong pursuit. This passion ultimately guided me to formal studies at the Visual Art Institute of the State of Puebla.

My mother’s side carries a profound artistic heritage. My great-grandfather, Enrique Benítez (1901–1980), my grandfather, Poolho Benítez (1931–2001), my great-uncle, Enrique Benítez Jr. (1936–2005), my uncle, Roberto Benítez, and my mother, Pola Benítez, each contributed to a rich lineage of creators. Their work—primarily realist and impressionist—celebrated traditional Mexican landscapes, often rendered in oil, a medium that became a hallmark of their style.

On my father’s side, the legacy continues through my grandfather, José Escobar-Chacón (1936–2020), and my father, Alejandro Escobar. Their artistic practice leans toward realism, exploring both watercolor and oil techniques. Still lifes and portraits define much of their work, reflecting their technical mastery and disciplined approach to painting.

During my studies at art school, I honed my skills and developed a unique style, Oil painting became my primary medium. At the same time, I explored new styles and built a strong network of artists across different regions of Mexico. These connections opened opportunities for me to exhibit my work throughout the country, sharing my vision and passion for art with a wider audience.
